Babergh and Mid Suffolk on the road to sustainable travel: LCWIP endorsement to be considered by Cabinets

As one of our valued consultees last summer, we just wanted to let you know that thanks to your feedback on this platform, we have now produced our first draft Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan (LCWIP).

This plan essentially formally sets out how we aim to improve the cycling and walking network throughout Babergh and Mid Suffolk, working with partners such as Suffolk County Council. It also proposes almost 200 potential infrastructure schemes to help make this happen - which have been directly shaped by the comments you made during the consultation.

It's due to be considered by councillors on 4 April, and you can find out more on our website at:

Thank you again or your consultation contributions!
